Full Circle Dance Company has been committed from the beginning to bringing the broader community into its creative process. Community partnerships enrich our work, and dance enriches our communities. We believe dance can help us understand each other even when words seem inadequate. Our workshops—tailored to specific groups or themes—are about sharing ideas and stories as well as about moving together. We’ve held workshops at Roland Park Elementary middle school, Maryland School for the Deaf, Irvine Nature Center, Manor Care Baltimore, University of Maryland Medical Center, and more. We hope this blog serves as a vessel to come inside our world and be inspired.

As a teaser to Full Circle Dance Company's 12th Annual Concert, Moving Passages, the ensemble hosted its 3rd Annual Community Workshop at its resident school, Morton Street Dance Center, Inc. Swirling jellyfish, tumbling crabs, a committee of scientists -- and a biologist, stuck in the middle, head in her hands, wrestling with a nightmare about it all.
