Dr. Marina Wright, PT, DPT, CPST is a Baltimore-based interdisciplinary movement specialist. Marina graduated from James Madison University (JMU) in 2017 with a B.A. in Theatre & Dance and a B.S. in Kinesiology. She has performed with Exhalations Dance Theatre (PA), courdance (PA), Pittsburgh Community Dance Project (PA), Contemporary Dance Ensemble (VA), Associate Dance Ensemble (VA), and Longwood Dance Company (PA). She has had the opportunity to work with choreographers and companies including Doug Varone, Maurice Fraga, the Rockettes, George Mason SummerDance, Pushing Progress, Attack Theatre, the Pillow Project, and the José Limón Company. Marina has also worked in technical theatre as the JMU dance program’s Student Technical Director, with JMU School of Theatre and Dance electric shop, and with Bob Steinbeck & Associates in Pittsburgh.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Marina is a pediatric physical therapist at Kennedy Krieger Institute and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, promoting safe car travel for children in the community. She graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020.
